Disclaimers: No one and nothing here is mine.

Spoilers: All sorts of references to older storylines.

Summary: Fathers and sons...

Ratings Note/Warnings: Contains content some readers may find honest.

Author's Notes: Another in the And Each Moment Moved series, based on the first ending of "A way so familiar." Starts some months after the last snippet in "This and that of you." Will not make sense without *all* the rest, I don't think.

Acknowledgments: With much love to Jack, Pixie, and Mildred, all of whom contributed many, many noises. Jack also threw in some of the better lines and the summary.

Story goes here!

Oh I'm so happy that you wrote this!

Thank you, anonymous! It had been rattling around my brain for *so* long, and -- mm. Lex. *heh*

*swoon with happiness*

It's probably very wrong that I was rolling on the floor at :

"Thank you, Lex! Is it true that you and Tom have been lovers since *high* school?"
There is something wrong with a universe when it includes moments like this one. There just -- is --

But a flustered Lex is pure joy and :

"For the record? You always seemed most fond of purple and green."
"You -- *together*?"
Tim nods solemnly.
"Was I -- making some sort of *statement*?"
Tim spreads his hands. "'Grapes are delicious?'"

had me laughing out loud at job which is Not Good At All.

So I just wanted to say "thanks for writing" and "I don't know how you managed to make happy endings when everyone and everythings is fucked up." But I love you for it !

Dickie is always, *always* special. Dickie is absolutely necessary for those times when a writer needs a character to say the things no one in their right mind would say.

*ehehehehe* That's one of the bits I stole from Jack, because -- YES.

So I just wanted to say "thanks for writing" and "I don't know how you managed to make happy endings when everyone and everythings is fucked up." But I love you for it !

*cackles* Happy is relative! And beautiful. And -- possible. Whenever happy is possible, I *will* be there. :D

It says something terrible about me that when I got to the end of the story I thought, oh, good, you fixed everything! Now everyone except Alfred can be happy!

Tim breaking Lex's mind is awesome and hilarious. The entire next generation of heroes breaking Lex's mind while Tim lusts after them=STILL MORE HILARIOUS. Thanks for this story!

*ahahahahaha* Yes. I 'fixed' everything. It's all okay now! No, it totally is! Look at the smiling faces! *heh* As I say above, the 'happy' part of a happy ending is so. Very. Relative. And, well, as long as my woobies are happy... I'm happy.

Tim breaking Lex's mind is awesome and hilarious. The entire next generation of heroes breaking Lex's mind while Tim lusts after them=STILL MORE HILARIOUS. Thanks for this story!

Really, it's an excellent recipe for keeping potential supervillains honest and good -- don't ever let them be *bored*. Give them mysteries to work on, and children to protect, and all those other good things. Tim should take his act on the road. :D
