Alive!
And I've been working on a story for the past few weeks. It is, of course, not one of the stories that I'd mentioned working on *before*, but, well. It's a story. And it's done. And it's about 86,000 words.

... yeah, I don't know , either. If you're interested, it's a slightly AU sequel to All the things of the world, which some of you may remember as the story in which I decided Tim should be... um. Batgirl.

... yeah.

Anyway, I'm working on editing it now, and pondering a sequel, and various other things, too. The point is that I'm alive, and aware that I owe a lot of you comments and replies. I'll get there.

Well, I'm somewhere in the middle now (you'll get a proper (and loooong) review when I'm done) and at the moment I still very much do... despite the emotional diabetes you have probably already given me. This story's just the kind of sweet I need these days! Though so far I really want to hug Bruce. A lot. He seems so... lonely.

Sequel to "All the Things"

Waiting desperately for this sequel, y'know.

I don't particularly have a kick for drag/feminization, but BG!Tim works so wonderfully in this first 'un; it's a gorgeous, painful manifestation of your WireCageMonkey!Timmeh, both desperate and generous enough to fill the hole in the world left by "The Killing Joke."

And your/Tim's insight that it works so well because "Tim Drake" was also just a mask, and a less fulfilling one at that-- Beautiful and JUST right; this story rings true like silver on stone.

Mind you, the fact that BG inherently HAS to discourage Jason from going too far just hurts in that perfect bittersweet style.

And Jason knowing all along--I like that. It's not "The Crying Game," but all the unspoken secrets of the BatFamily, where you never know what should stay unspoken.

Please, ma'am, may I have some more?

When it's edited to your satisfaction, of course.

*heee* I'm actually not sure how much you'll like this sequel. It's all Jason POV, and it's very, very... um. *Sweet*. Well, we'll see.

But Te-sama, the sequel SHOULD be sweet. It's Jason and a marvelous, elusive, utterly lovable Batgirl. AND our favorite Timmeh. What's not to sweet? If you make these two tragic, ahmina cry.

Not that that's ever stopped you.

Your helpless fan, as always,
